I changed my employer last year and used AC21 / EAD. Now I want to return back to old employer who sponsored my Greencard. Is there a way to withdraw AC21?

The cost varies by family size. For a family of 4, in the beginning u'll need 1000-2000 for application fees and to prepare ur documents. one or two years later, you'll need another 1000-2000 for medical exams and landing/visa fees.
If you apply to the federal program, you are allowed to go anywhere except quebec. There is also a provincial program in each province that allows u to immigrate to that province, but then again u can move later..

passport or travel document valid for at least three months after visa expiry date
In this case, they mean the schengen visa expiration date. For example, if I am travelling from April 1 to April 20th, they will give me visa only upto April 20th. They want my AP to have expiration atleast 3 months from April 20th (which will be July 20th) but my AP is expiring on April 10th.

Why is Gary looking outside of USA to tap potential home buyers? Just for folks who aren't aware - there are 500,000 high skilled legal immigrant already in USA who are waiting in queue for numbers of years to get their Permanent Residency. Thanks to the limited visa availability based on country chargeability (birth of applicant) and inefficiency of immigration system, these highly skilled, tax paying and law abiding immgrants are waiting for their Green Card (Permanent residency). Some of them have studied here, worked here for years and US is almost a second home to them. They are sitting on pile of cash, Yes - PILE OF HARD CASH. They wouldn't buy house or any big ticket items until they get Green card. Why not give these people, who are already part of our system, conditional Permanent Residency who buy houses. I tried the suggestion solution: convert all the extensions to xps, then use DocumentViewer to display the file. It's quite neat. Short and simple code!

hi,
I've got my L1A visa valid till MARCH 2010 with company A. Meanwhile my H1B VISA got approved thru company B for this year.i would like to continue in my L1(company A) for few months until i find a suitable project with the employer who processed my H1(company B).
how long can I continue in my L1 status
a)if it is a fresh H1B ?
b)if the H1 is a "change of status"?
c)what can i do if i need to retain L1A VISA status for the period after the Change of Status happens ?

We have applied for I -485 last month.I am the primary applicant and my spouse is add on.Bothe of us are on H1B and it is valid till end of 2008.
I have applied for EAD and advance parole for my spouse only.We have not yet received the receipt numbers .I was wondering if we want to travel outside the country do we need to wait untill we get any of the above or if we have a valid H1B can we travel outside the country.

As for the actual porting, did u do an H-1 transfer or did u start at ur new company using ur EAD? If u did transfer over ur H-1 did u wait until u got the actual USCIS receipt to start work?
Does anyone know what what legal expenses one might ...once form G-28 is filed for a new lawyer to represent an applicant (I-140 has been approved and I-485 was filed more than 180 days ago)??

Can anybody recommend a good attorney in the DC metro area, I am trying to start the GC process and as I understand the LC (EB3 ROW) portion is very important and challenging currently.
I've heard of Murthy Law Firm and some other big name (in DC).
I've also looked at Ryan & Taylor based in Reisterstown, MD (same as Murthy).

As long as you haven't used the EAD/AP for employment purposes, I think your H1 is still valid. If your H1 is still valid then I believe you can get your denpendant's H-4 extended based on our H1 validitiy. But I suggest to contact your company attorney to make sure your H1 is still valid.
