1. Send all AOS forms and proof of pregnancy from the doctor. They will issue RFE or you can send medical after the delivery. Don't take risk while on pregnancy. RFE reply will get 30-45 days time.
2. If your current visa is not expired, you can delay in filing I-485. Just file I-130 now.

In my opinion, one of the more intriguing product announcements from Nikon today was the Coolpix 8700. If it improves significantly from the Sony, that could be a killer product. Right now, Canon is lacking a bit in the true consumer DSLR market. But then again, PMA is right around the corner. My case was filed Aug 8th (NSC), received Reciept notice (email from lawyer) on Sep 18th and FP notice on Oct 4th. The FP appointment is tomorrow.

When we went for our stamping 3 years ago at Delhi, at the outside window they stamped our passport with "green" sticker or something like that and when we entered the hall at the FP window, they said you don't need to stand in line and we were taken directly to AO. We did not have children and it was my 2nd H1 renewal stamping and my wife's first H4 renewal stamping.

I entered US last december 2007 with a visitors visa,allowed me to stay for 6 mos.,last march 2008 I married my fiance who has a H1b visa and is working right now here in the US and last May 2008 I Applied for a change of status from visitors to H4 dependent..Until now the case is pending but right now we had a family crisis back home and I have to go back home asap...what will happen with my application if I go home...Will I still be able to come back here and will I be out of status if I leave my pending application here???

I work for company X and in my 9th year H1-B visa. X has filed for my Eb-3 labor and I-140 and I am currently AOS (July 07 filer) on my I-485. X recently extended my H1 through Oct 2012.
I have an offer from company Y. Company Y is asking me if I want H1 extension or H1 transfer? What should I answer them. Which one ensures that I have a 3 year extension. Please advise ASAP.

You should tell them to file a H1 Change of Employer petition based on your approved I-140. Let them know they need to file a LCA requesting a 3 yr term and get the LCA approval and then file form I-129 requesting for a 3 yr H1.

I have an approved labor and approved I-140. Based on this I've got extension for 3 more years. I have a contract-hire opportunity which requires me to be a consultant for "X" months. I know I can transfer my H1 to another company. But my question is, can I transfer my h1 again to join the client after "X" months.

A good attorney would never recommend job description in such micro terms. What does your labor certification say ? Match it as much to that one. CIS is not concerned about that level of micro detail (servlets or XML). The description should be a a level that can be easily understood by an adjudicator.

My mother recently got a tourist visa for 10 years. I know that when she enters USA she will get I-94 which will be valid for 6 months, and she has to go back before the I-94 expires. My question is:
1) Can she go back to India for say 2 months and come back to US to stay for another 6 months?
Ex: she comes on 1st Jan 2011 , goes back 31st June 2011 , then stay for couple of months in India and Again Come Back on 1st Sep and stay for more 6 months ?
According to my understanding tourist can stay only 6 months in USA in a calendar year, provided they don’t apply for extension, is it true?
2) What if she comes on 1st Jan 2011 stays for 6 months, applies for 6 months extension gets it.
Goes back in month of Dec. stays for 2 months and again comes on March 1st 2012, will she face any problem at port of entry? Due to her extension she took on her last visit?
